A few hours in the garden before the weather turns again. We tidied up the area where Casey is buried in a quiet corner of the garden. Mr Weka has dragged a big rock from the front yard to make a headstone for her grave. Jeez, we miss our little girl.

Possibly worse, or maybe just different. We haven’t poisoned the roots yet but have donated two truckloads of shoots to the zoo to feed the red pandas. So much dead wood and green waste to clear faster than the new shoots are popping up!
