....also re KTM leaving, how good would it be to see Chinese CFMoto running a team with KTM engines and a bought in chassis as in Moto2/3...?

I heard from somewhere that RedBull were keen to pull a lot of finance away and just sponsor individual riders, don't know where that came from though?

I just can't see BMW joining, which is a great shame.

Where did you hear the re Genesis?

The Ducati 'weakness' was its long wheelbase. Especially in a field of agile, short wheelbase Suzukis, Yamahas, Hondas. So Gigi put wings on the front and made it a drag bike. Turned its weakness into its strength. Look how long and Low the Honda and Aprilia are now!

...and whilst I'm on it...
Why can't I see either Fabio or Pedro suiting a Ducati?

It just doesn't look agile enough for them?

And I'm worried KTM will struggle to attract riders even of they survive the budget cuts...

Totally agree with you on that. The Honda is getting there now.
It's a big shame the Yam V4 is a season (decade) too late.
But if Fab can manage the last 1000cc year on a Yamaha/Honda, its hopefully gonna be a level playing field with the new 850 regs. Would you bet money against Honda...?

Good shout. I think HRC would suit him.

Based on how hard Mir was wringing the Hondas neck in Sepang, I think it would suit him and could see him go there.
And they can afford him.

I'm a petrolhead and proud of it.

I love engines, love everything about them.

I don't like people who criticise others because of a label or a simple statement of what they enjoy.

Save sh*t like thos for twitter.

I live in Frodsham, it has an enormous mix of old families, new families, supporters of Lab, Con, Libs, Greens.
The title name of our constituency, 'Runcorn' is the target of a nation of people who know nothing of the demographic. But because a party they hate just scraped in, its hell on earth.

Did you see the other parties? Including the English Democrats?
Also, Runcorn is only a part of a huge constituency which includes Frodsham, Helsby and all the way to Guilden Sutton in Chester.
It wasn't a landslide, it was 6 votes in it.

My understanding (as a constituent) was not that Reform won because of Farage's promise to stop the boats, but dissatisfaction of Labour stopping winter fuel payments and threatening their PIPs. They'll never vote Conservative or other, they just had beef with Labour.
