One could start to read this and imagine that something called “Community Security Trust” refers to the abstract concept of “community”. But it doesn’t! There’s only one community it cares about. We’re getting sick of the endless dishonesty and manipulation. In the long run it just erodes trust.

Sweet of you to be baffled! I think the arguments you put forward in their names are adorable. But I think that pro-Zionists are taking the calculated gamble of supporting the populist right on the basis that they will be foul to other people first. Clearly we’re in classic leopard territory here.

Honestly Jonathan you know perfectly well that there’s this toxic relationship between significant parts of the Jewish community and the far right. And in the end the right will betray them, because the right is genuinely anti-Semitic. And it would be quite sad, if it weren’t so gratifying!

For goodness sake Guardian! “Implacably” not “impeccably” . As an ex teacher, why on earth should we demand any writing competence from children, when a supposedly quality national newspaper can’t get something fairly basic right and can’t be bothered to check?

What is this with women not paying? From being 14 I split the bill. When I once jokingly claimed that I drank/less, needed varied clothes and makeup was pricey, the sensible blokes I was with said we all consumed what we wanted/needed and makeup/clothes were my choice. What do I not understand?

Bizarre logic here! To be very angry with some people whom we don’t expect much from,doing something very bad, doesn’t mean we can’t be fairly angry with people who strut around on the moral high ground when they do something pretty bad!

So the reality would be that teachers work and are paid for a 5-day week, instead of working a 6-day week and being paid for 5. Oh yes, and children would get better prepared lessons and more helpful marking.
