Day 2 laid up on the couch. Reading Kira Jane Buxton's "Feral Creatures," a delightfully clever sequel to "Hollow Kingdom." Buxton is so creative and witty.

Taking this time in bed to read @rutasepetys.bsky.social "Between Shades of Gray." Hers are the books I would smuggle in my coat. Because these are the books we can't allow to be forgotten.

At least a sick day means plenty of time to read.

Had a dream I invited #BrandonSanderson to my wedding. He couldn't come but invited us to hang with him for a day. It was an awesome day, but then a family of bears showed up and started following us. I ended up epically saving his son from the bears, and he was so impressed. #GoodTimes
