I think it’s flying directly into something you have a 90% chance of dying if you fly directly into it (a binary pulsar for example)

2nd Officer D’Zin Erin… prefers D’Zin. Erin is a malevolent memora symbiont… she’s Quazadian. Why are my highest ranking officers so chaotic?
December 27, 2024 at 4:15 AM
1st Officer Zed “Two” Pinkerton… Protogen… COBALT COLLECTIVE?! Nononono this can’t be happening! I left that evil reptilian hive mind cult behind after all the temporal war stuff on Reptilus B!
December 27, 2024 at 4:14 AM
Captain Mildred “Morbid” Paur… looks like I go by Captain Morbid. Morbid was my holonet name did I have a psychotic break or something? Do I commit warcrimes? I better fucking not
December 27, 2024 at 4:11 AM
Fleet Captain Wolf Anthroian Collette Aurora… Cybernetic Wing Augmentation. That’s cool. Why am I intuiting her as an ex? We’ll be on good terms at that point I think
December 27, 2024 at 4:09 AM
Admiral Dale Nonen… that’s not… goddamn it I know it is. That mentally ill yellow Euclidian actually ended up with a new form. And it’s… purple? Purple humanoid shapeshifter now huh…

Fleet Admiral Jeremy Paur, Soong-type Bear Anthroian Android. Glad my dad is still alive in 16 years
December 27, 2024 at 4:05 AM
Of course the goddamn temporal council is on the crew manifest, ranked “God” how vain and pathetic
December 27, 2024 at 4:04 AM
And my name is Mildred… wild. I didn’t expect such a transition but I’m digging it… I can see the entire crew manifest

No eating after 7? Yeah it’s why Starfleet officers are always so thin.

I’m no savior, these planets can destroy themselves with extra help and resources as much as they can save themselves.
December 25, 2024 at 6:36 PM
Lyndyn Smalls wasn’t my captain, they’re captain of the Timeship Inertia. And I’m referring to lack of medical resources and a Starfleet tendency for accidental crew deaths.
December 25, 2024 at 6:35 PM
*growls nervously* Look I can’t afford to question these things, maybe I can caution others away but I have my path. But there are IFC Captains like Lyndyn Smalls that are selfless and altruistic to a fault, who would’ve been killed their first day in Starfleet. The IFC keeps people alive.
December 25, 2024 at 6:31 PM
I’m terribly sorry… I was just a nepo kid for the most part, but I was on Reptilus B at 13 during a 77,777 year temporal war.

*shrugs* food and games are nice. There are plenty of worlds out there that wish they had food and games.
December 25, 2024 at 6:12 PM
If you don’t like it that’s cool, I’m just letting you know what happens. We build recreational facilities disguised as churches for religion dominated cultures. They don’t worship the IFC they worship the Axolotl, all while doing recreation in a fake religion that doesn’t take itself seriously.
December 25, 2024 at 5:17 PM
The fleets of these cultures are their own, and joining the IFC is only decided on by each individual themselves. As far as debt and worship… some cultures seem to enjoy that dynamic and we have a protocol for it.
December 25, 2024 at 5:02 PM
Decentralization? Ew… it’s socialist it’s just not obligatory. Of course we maintain and provide relief for cultures we interfere with.
December 25, 2024 at 4:53 PM
*holds my head down* Yeah that’s… not right. I’m a pacifist, okay? I do it for catharsis because it’s not real. Turning it into a game is the only way I can justify it. I’m sorry. Perhaps I’ll join the resistance as an underdog on my next playthrough.
December 25, 2024 at 4:52 PM
Would you believe that there’s no such thing as an IFC member world? *smirks*
December 25, 2024 at 4:50 PM
Apologies intendant, I am rather hyperfixated on holonovels in which they have “won” the universe. I now realize they do not claim the entire universe like they think they do. I haven’t kept up with what happens in the Milky Way mirror after they perish.
December 25, 2024 at 4:45 PM
The IFC believes that every culture should have an equal chance at exploring the stars, some need technological help and rapid social change for that. The federation seems to prefer to let certain planets continue to have zero chance of ever developing warp drive before they perish.
