Who up commanding their tower

Swung for 325 once after a light warmup and got it pretty easy. Tried to do a second one after this and wasn’t even close 🥲 +10 lbs, 25 away from 350.

Back in the gym after a week or so off. Felt alright and swung for 285 bench and failed. The fact I still had a 265 in me after makes me think I’m close. I’m comin for it next week.

From Saturday:

Bench day. Hit a 1x265 and a 1x275 in sequence. 25 lbs from my goal.

Hit 1x315 twice, a new PB by +10lbs. Swung for a 325 but missed. Gimme a week or two. Goal 350 by March 29.

I’ve signed up for a lifting meet to hold myself accountable to some goals to take control of my personal fitness. The two events I’m in are bench and deadlift.

My current 1 rep bests are
Bench: 255
DL: 305

DL: 350
