Actually, no. The silliest part is that my brain was DETERMINED to keep Gin in-character.
After confirming that the cop was dead, he almost immediately left to take out all of his buddies, too.

Before I woke up I got a big hug from Vodka. I don't normally like hugs, but it was very warm and nice.

So right as the cop drew his gun and my bad dream tipped over the edge into a proper nightmare, guess who kicked the door down, pissed off and bloodthirsty.

...I think the silliest part is that it completely worked. The nightmare faded back into a (kind of) normal dream.

ooo I like that headcanon — to me, Pinga feels he has similarities to Gin (which is why Conan's jab hit so hard LMAO), so Gin getting territorial over Pinga having interest in Vodka feels right.
And actually, if I remember correctly, Pinga and Vodka worked pretty well together too. So, that tracks!
