What if the 'collective' was the entire population of the US. And the insurance company was the US government. Maybe we could call it, I dunno, how about Medicare for All.

Actually worse since the bank won't pay for any repairs.

Let's see: Average age of first home purchase was said to be 40 years on last nights evening news. Average lifespan is way less than 90, so the proposal is the banks own all the houses and you get to rent forever.

So, let me see if I understand this. Instead of sending taxpayer dollars to the insurance company from the federal government (and exercising some control over them) he wants to give the money to me so that I can give it to the money sucking insurance company (who will have less regulation). Hmm.

Warrior Ethos? What in the world does that mean? Chain mail, bronze helmets and broad swords?
I cannot understand this continuous attack on women. It has to be due to his fragile self esteem and lack of self confidence. It must suck to be so afraid of women.

Another theme might revolve around the opposite of woke is asleep.
Do the same as tRump and repeat a word or series of words again and again and again. It isn't necessary to explain a policy in wonky detail in order to convey that it is "good" or "bad".
August 14, 2025 at 10:27 PM
or Trump didn't tell you who he thinks bad people are! He means YOU! or Trump lied! He is taking away your child's lunch! Also, having elected reps show videos shot by citizens on national TV - "crime ridden" Georgetown with teams of goons walking the streets among joggers and peaceful citizens.

Wake up America" and followed it with a short simple thing that tRump is doing.

It could be Trump lied! tRump is taking away your health insurance, or Trump lied! tarrifs are a tax passed on by the importer to the retailer and paid by you,

Yes, and developing easy to understand, short sentences with a theme that can resonate with otherwise busy and distracted people. I liked the part of Newsom's speech when he said "

Trump always spoke at or below a 4th grade level. He also only told half-truths. I think that reducing the cognitive load by speaking at, say, a 6th grade level does make people listen more to what you say. The other problem is that hardly anybody can just stand and lie like tRump.

It is upsetting that the side effect is to reward companies like walmart for keeping wages low. There is a negative incentive for walmart to provide a living wage and supply affordable employer sponsored health care. I bet universal healthcare would save the taxpayers more than the draconian cuts.

They will probably tailor work hours to ensure that employees only get the minimum required. I doubt that they will help navigating the system. I would like to know what the savings would be if they left both programs alone and raised the minimum wage. I bet it would be more than the cuts

Maybe something like the Carnation Revolution is possible (Revolução dos Cravos)?

I am reminded of the lyrics from an old Eirc Burdon and the Animals song:

Cop's face is filled with hate
Heaven's above, he's on a street called Love
When will they ever learn
Old cop young, cop feel alright
On a warm San Franciscan night

These cuts are a direct subsidy to corporations like Walmart and Amazon because they: 1. Encourage part time employment only; 2. Discourage paying for health insurance; 3. Discourage paying a living wage since wages are augmented with SNAP.
Modern day slavery in disguise.
