I thought I'd try to find the grave of his daughter Joanna, who outlived her sister & both parents. She's buried in a cemetery not far from where I live in London. When I do I will send you a photograph! Also - there's a great Kerry James Marshall show at the moment with new paintings incl. this

According to Equiano, the children in his village were already used to being on the lookout for kidnappers while the adults were away. One character carries a large, elaborate, period rifle and they are dressed in modern clothes despite this being a 19th century historical event.

I thought it was remarkably quiet there today - great for looking at length, but wondering what it says about the art market at the moment. I'd definitely want to take these home.
