“KAMEK!!” Babylon exclaims as he watches his trusted wizard fall to his instant death. The Black Star changes it’s target and swoops into Babylon’s vicinity in an instant. “Light folding o’er light.” “L-Lord Babylon!!” The soldiers cry out seeing their commander in imminent danger. “Foul hellspawn!” Babylon insults the Black Star, “You will PAY for what you-“ The Black Star reaches an arm out and places a cold, feelingless hand to Babylon’s shoulder. “He…. He…. HERALD.” A swirling of shadow-like energy surrounds the knight, emanating from the Black Star’s hand. “Life in the liquid mirror. Martyrs of the second Death.” As Babylon feels the power flowing through him, he spends his own energy fighting back. He roars out. “ENOUGH!!!!” Babylon strikes the Black Star down, ripping its primordial body in two. “Hey, look!” The soldiers react to Babylon’s excellent display of strength, “The Black Star fell in one fell swoop! And Kamek’s ice spell is wearing off! Lord Babylon! You did it!” As the ice thaws from Babylon’s body, the Black Star’s power finally has it’s grasp on him despite everything. It is too late. “Insanity unfiltered. Humanity forlorn. This is where Dragon is born.” Babylon feels something move inside of him. It is changing him. He shrieks out before going silent.
