Same, unfortunately I'm the "anything tech related" guy so I often get asked to do it by relatives. There just always seems to be a fuck up right at the end that makes the whole thing look like shit

Do most people even watch the game awards for the awards though? I was under the assumption that 99% of people just want to see new stuff announced and the awards are mostly for people to get bent out of shape and complain about

I've noticed with the rise of live service games there's a subset of gamers who think that every single game, from free to play little games someone made in a day for fun all the way to big AAA games, has to be constantly updated and have stuff added or the game is "dead" according to them
