The base, who is utterly opposed to government intervention in the economy and wasteful spending, thinks the “plan” is that he is going to write them big, fat checks. Gotta keep the illusion going.

If they had any decency (which they don’t) anyone who looked the American people in the eye and blatantly and repeatedly lied should resign. If they don’t have decency they should be impeached.

Bu Schumer said we should be focused on "affordability" not the brownshirts shooting people in the streets, or Trump's statement to Reuters that in his opinion we should not even have midterms.

Now after having already closed the deal with the Devil, he sees around him what going to hell is really looking like (riots, Powell persecution, wars with allies) and wants to back out of the deal.

Roberts would have blocked them, as he showed after the fact. It all comes back to the Supreme Court thinking it was a good idea to give a sociopath unrestrained authority over the office of President.

Who would have imagined that people on the Supreme Court who openly supported the plot to overthrow the election would be allowed to sit and judge the very case against him.

Ditch Schumer for somebody like Chris Murphy, Liz Warren or Sheldon Whitehouse in the Senate and replace Jeffries with someone like AoC or Eric Swalwell in the House would be a good start.
