On another random note, I think my favorite performance from Paul Dano is in Looper. Even in a smaller supporting role he brings such tragedy to his character. Tough competition from There Will Be Blood, which I also loved him in. Take a look at this scene for an example of his soft spoken honesty.

It’ll never stop being funny/sad to me that to get labeled a “radical socialist” in US politics, all you have to do is gently ask for the basic minimum things that every other wealthy democracy has already had for years and years (paid maternity leave, minimum wage you can actually live on etc).
