No biggie, we'll make some whoopsies and purposefully, in bad faith, incorrectly frame issues we oppose here and there... and mass distribute disinformation that may do irreparable damage to the stability of our country and its relationship with our allies. Not a big deal though.

It's not that they're not able to do it, it's just that normally, politicians aren't aiming to give people whiplash. Normally, you'd gradually do small changes until you get to where you wanted. But Trump is a moron and his cabinet doesn't have safety rails this time. Just a bunch of "Yes men".

People always compare our current situation to "Idiocracy", but I'd say it's worse because at least the characters in the movie learned their flaws and were willing to better themselves by the end. Here, we're just doubling down so we're afraid of making the opposition look good.

Or governor here banned public health workers from promoting vaccines. Then we recently had our first death in the state from bird flu shortly after. We really are rolling back the clock in the worst possible way...
