I saw the Bluegrass DSA tent signing up a ton of people for their newsletter, and that really moved me. They were running out of paper! People want answers, we want solutions, and we need to work together. This was a step forward, even if it was a babystep.

I see a lot of nihilistic sentiments from my fellow leftists about it being pointless, and i cant help to completely disagree. Getting out of the house, putting the phone away, and connecting with people that share at least some of your own beliefs is never a bad thing.

In solidarity, I was driving home from work between 330-530am (yes I have a 2 hour commute) & was listening to the new 5-4 episode that dropped last night. Great work as always. Also, we are cooked.

I understand you're point, but Glassnow has thrown over 120 IP in each of the last 2 seasons, while Snell has only pitched less than 100 IP twice in his career (his rookie season, and the covid season).

I'm curious if the Reds truly expected him to accept that offer, or if the likelihood was 50/50 & Cincy decided they were fine either way. Nick was great for us last year & I am glad he is back in the mix, even at an overpay (imo). Hope this doesn't take the Reds out of an impactful OF bat, tho.
