What lazy reporting. Every seat in every state determines the outcome of a national election.

*Disgraced Former … Also stripped of Australian Honours, is the correct way to refer to him.

What batteries?!

They’d just tell Gov to give them $$ for batts, secured GenSets and ongoing maintenance.

Well, well, well! Now it's GST exempt. Still only $240mil, only for the Mac Point precinct and not an actual (theoretical) stadium costing upto $1bil. Tassie gets dudded again. pulsetasmania.com.au/news/tasmani...

Many airports used to have outdoor observation areas… so kids of all ages could watch planes go zoom.

Sadly many are inaccessible due to security theatre or corporate greed (no profit in it)

The artificial 7 day delay for most results going to MyHR is under review and will probably be removed in a year, with some caveats, despite protestations from said gatekeepers.

Even with a bigger berth it’ll be a tight fit just to turn in the river at Devonport! (Already is for the current ships).

Seems she’s rabidly pro-genocide so it’s very on-brand to not put 2 and 2 together.

Pathology taker today said I was the first to ask her to mask. She said hospital workers come in with respiratory symptoms after a shift at work with no mask and cough all about. Not rocket-surgery.

Retrospective laws are bad, no matter what the intent.

They are slow learners.

Even Rudd did some silly stuff like the Alco-pop tax hikes, which resulted in many ppl just buying strong spirts to mix themselves which ends up in more alcohol consumption.

Labor only just scraped back in at the next election with support of independents.

Like at the end of 2016 rushing to pass some anti-TerryWrist legislation to stop some undefined threat “by Xmas” with a promise to come back and fix the issues later. Never did.

What if the Gov is in caretaker mode by then?
November 26, 2024 at 9:49 AM
The irony of reading/linking that via Apple “News” which takes a 30% merchant fee for stuff bought via their platform.
November 22, 2024 at 5:42 AM
Any chance these “extreme” laws were used to actually stop scam callers or SMS spam?

I guess if it were, the Gov would be crowing about such an “achievement” that benefits all Australians!

A colleague lives in a major CBD and usually works from home(!). He says 5G rocks at night but is crap during the day. Must be the hundreds of thousands of commuters coming in and their phones smashing the mobile network.
