The notion of mental representation does not do the work that psychologists, neurologists, philosophers and other cognitive scientists believe it does.

It immediately follows that we can only have mental representations 'in our heads', if our heads also contain mini cognizers (i.e. homunculi). This reductio ad absurdum shows that there are no mental representations.
