We are having some weather extremes in parts of NSW and other parts of Australia. A cyclonic depression has sucked a lot of hot air onto the country. The far north western corner of NSW is expecting over 45⁰C. Sydney itself is expecting high 30's in some parts....and it's still late spring.

I cooked an interesting meal tonight. Chicken skewers with a tandoori marinade, oven roasted cauliflower tossed in garam masala spice, basmati rice flavoured with lime and coriander. A raita and mango chutney as condiments. Unusual combinations but it tasted perfect.

I am still keeping a very limited footprint on social media.
BlueSky is my main focus.
I have WhatsApp for certain chats and Messenger for the same reason.
I find the people on BlueSky more tolerant and tolerable.
Twitter is a cluster fuck, have never used IG or TikTok and FB is gutter sludge.

Living in a house with sickness for the last 3 weeks is starting to wear thin. With both of us having lingering spring colds, plus my wife fighting another virus, it's beyond fun now.
Thankfully I can research some different music and go through my library for something different.

At 16 I worked part-time in a department store clothing store room.
It was busy, but fun, time for work and time for pranks.
During a busy time, we were stacking shirts and my team leader asked me how I was placing them. My quick reply, "One on top of the other."
I was told that I was a smart ass.

I don't have much contact, if any, with so-called famous people or even mildly famous. But I saw someone famous recently at a local cafe who didn't want to queue for coffee.
And they used the ultimate famous person statement, "Don't you know who I am?"
