🎉 Live from the CSS WG F2F: We resolved to adopt my proposal for relative colors with 2+ colors!

Very excited. This will fill a big gap that my original Relative Colors proposal (now Baseline 2024) left, and make SO MANY more use cases possible.

No one showed up to my Inclusive Learning Environments meetup. Word on the street is that it felt risky to attend and possibly a violation of the new administration’s “cease all DEIA activities“ order.

The Gulf of Mexico is now officially known as the “Gulf of America,” at least according to the U.S. government. The Trump administration appears to have the authority to change the name, even though other countries do not have to go along with it. nyti.ms/3EbgOAS

Stay strong 💪🏻 Rep. McBride.
Rep. Sarah McBride, the first openly transgender member of Congress, has arrived in Washington at a time when LGBTQ rights are under assault. She barely spoke about her identity on the campaign trail and would like to continue the same approach, if possible.

This is a nightmare.
Today would have marked 52 years of Roe as the law of the land. But Donald Trump packed the Supreme Court with anti-abortion extremists to get it overturned.

This week, he cut off access to reproductiverights.gov.

We must keep fighting for women’s rights.
