Disappointing to see one of the few remaining realistic news sources gutted like this.

I found a Japanese language livestream to watch. I don’t know baseball rules and I also don’t speak Japanese.

Biked the length of future Line 6 Finch West LRT today. Bike lanes 99% done but 100% marked as closed with pylons & signs. Trains running but a bit slow - left Humber College alongside a train, then over the 12km route I caught up to the next one in front?!

I am an avid knitter and lover of merino wool, so this is great news! A three-year study following nearly two thousand sheep found the wool from sheep grazing under solar panels was stronger and grew faster. Scientists attribute this to the year-round nutrition provided by the vegetation growing in the micro-habitats created by the shade of solar panels. The solar panels also offered the sheep a covered place to shelter from both the sun and from storms. The sheep experienced no negative health impacts, and the area does not need to be mowed by humans, as the sheep graze around the panels themselves. The yield of Chardonnay grapes increased by 60%, followed by Marselan at 30% and Grenache blanc at 20%. Sun'Agri said that growing grapes under solar panel shade allowed it to optimize the process by controlling temperatures while also increasing humidity and decreasing irrigation needs. The panels also helped to protect against frost.
