Luckily Faber is as good an actress as she was a minister.

Also, retail vacancy rate is a number that doesn't reach extremes (unless you're in some dying Rust Belt town), so a change of 1 percentage point in a metric that moves between 5% and 15% is significant.

That's addressed in the article: "The vacancy rate in the tolled zone dropped by nearly one percentage point in 2025, while the citywide average stayed flat."

Remarkable how these people seemingly want to be on the wrong side of history on every issue.
December 22, 2025 at 5:32 PM
That's actually not fine. Don't endanger others just for your own satisfaction.

Everything the same but with some stricter immigration rules.

I went to see Magdeburg in May of 2025 as they were pushing for promotion, a home win in a sold out stadium would have kept them in contention for the playoff spot... they lost 0-5 against Münster (who ended up avoiding relegation by a single point). Remarkable game.

What an absolute nonsense. The response to people trying to get away with law-breaking is to stop enforcing the law?

You're a braver man than I.

Why not give them an EV truck? Because it's excessively dangerous to other road users, and the ridiculous weight damages road surfaces an order of magnitude more than a more reasonably sized car.

In the light of point b, I'm continuously amazed that the NFL still displays anti-racism messages in the end zones, and still has the announcers read a message about equal opportunity. Especially given that doing those things can get you targeted by the Trump administration.

The original was commissioned by the Dutch state railways to commemorate 100 years of railways in the Netherlands. So that's an actual NS publication (!)

By, like, two orders of magnitude.
December 14, 2025 at 9:01 PM
That number is insane, 49 deaths per year, on a network that runs 18 round trips a day? The entire Dutch railway network kills 11 people per year, with over 4000 train services a day.

That must mean he endorses her views.

I guess sight lines work differently in the USA. American exceptionalism is a powerful thing.

Why is the supporter premium tier below the standard tier? When seated behind the goal, you want to be further up. You don't see jack when you're immediately behind the goal.

Interrail is often worth it (especially when discounted) even if you're just going to one destination and then back again -- and it's more flexible than buying a return ticket, too, since you can change date, time and even itinerary.
