RGIII is one of the few players I can remember from when I was being forced to watch football at family gatherings, and given what the game is like and ESPECIALLY was like at that time, possibly this is also his CTE talking.

For what it is worth, On Tyranny agrees with you — not conforming to expectations matters, because forced conformity is a tool tyranny uses to crush resistance to its agenda. It’s important.

I saw a commenter today theorize that a lot of people who think accommodations can be abused by those who don’t need them think that because accommodations helped them and they don’t think they need them. And while I loathe narratives that blame a community for its own oppression, it made me think.

Cooking: For December, I'm trying my hand at baking apple crisp; I wanted to make it for our holiday celebration and want a chance to debug my process and recipe before it's the Big Day.

I feel like by the typical anti-Die Hard argument even “A Christmas Carol” would not be a Christmas story. Dickens is using the spirit of Christmas as a symbol of the charity and kindness Scrooge needs to relearn — “keep it all the year” doesn’t mean “never take down your Christmas lights.”

About an 80% OK level here. I've been having some Big Feelings since I got home from a weekend away, I think partially the inevitable consequence of travel combined with a small meds mixup. ACT is keeping me together but I would not mind another day NOT having to actively manage my feels, thank you!
