In 5 yrs of living in Poland, I've never been to Auschwitz, but I've been to Studthoff. The "normality" of the Commandant's house and garden only adds to the oppresive feel, along with the still in situ railtracks where camp incumbents-Poles and Jews-were taken and gassed.

Even out in Poland, it's become very difficult to access lots of music as Empik and Media Markt reduced their massive stocks of musical merchandise down to minimal-if at all any. I was quite excited going into said MM in Linz and seeing cd's!!

An older mate gave me a shot of "Hogwash" and "Solid" in 1980. Soon, I was on the hunt for the then unavailable back catalogue! (Split fortunately was reissued in Sept 1980 as one of UA's "Rock Files")

I'm not a massive fan, but I like this album a lot, especially "Will O' The Wisp".😀

Kokomo were good! There were so many members, they probably had a connection to every British rock band in the 70's!😀

Alan Hull is one of my favourite songwriters and, Lindisfarne have been one of my favourite bands since I first heard Lady Eleanor. Wonderful storytellers.
