Def a need for a modern country. Lets hope they keep security tight and proper unlike America who can leak all our socials for fun. Also brits don’t have ID’s like Licenses? (Coming from a very uninformed American)

I don’t think this is a good idea, having a central database of all foreign citizens seems just like an easy way to target these individuals. Similar to the trans database we see in America. This is also a single point of failure for data breaches. Whats the need for this data in the first place?
