Author, Poet, Psychedelic Musician, Movie Star, and occultist. Creator of the late 60s "Arkham Sound." Have been accused of being "fictional." http://byronfenris.com Fan of horror, pets, retro style and spooky things in general.
RIP to Udo Kier. There are many, many iconic roles he played but I'm going to remember him here for his delightful turn as the enigmatic Professor Pericles in the excellent Scooby Doo, Mystery Incorporated series.

Share a 90s movie you think deserves more love... 🎥🖤
(Gruner is no Olivier, but this is a smart little thriller. Sort of like Die Hard if John McClain was a robot)

I'm fairly certain that June Lockhart, who just passed at the age of 100, was the last surviving adult lead from a Universal Horror Movie of the classic era. Too bad She-Wolf of London is one of the worst, but she did alright with her career after that!

Let It Ride, 1989, with Richard Dreyfuss and Teri Garr. A lovable lowlife gambler is having the luckiest day of his life.

Not "stolen." AI is assimilates and recombines other work; you know, just like every artist does. It's called "influence." The method is different, the principle is the same. Now, theft, that's what Quentin Tarentino does. As to the question of "art," of course you can. AI is a tool.

AI is a tool. Artists will use tools. I am doing the best work of my life right now, using AI as a tool. The work is the work. I don't need to, or want to, convince you that I can produce original content, for I am doing so, regardless of whether you recognize that or not.

Obviously, I disagree with this gentleperson. AI is a tool, and artists will use tools to make art.

What do you think is a criminally underrated shark movie? #horrorsky #filmsky

Happy 100 to June Lockhart. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure she's the last surviving star from the Universal Monsters gothic era (1931-1949ish). Here she is in She Wolf of London.

RIP Jules Feiffer. His cartoons of the time are an excellent look into the thoughts of the Kennedy era. He also wrote the black comedy LITTLE MURDERS, as bleak and pertinent today as it was back then. One of the first books I read as a small child (it's not for children):

Best portrayal of the Devil on film or T.V.
Hands down it's Viggo Mortensen in THE PROPHECY. He brings SO many layers to this, in just a few minutes of screen time.
