also valimar is my goat but the mech fight gameplay was kind of ass if i'm gonna be real.

—the crux of it all is class 7's bond... so. notably cs2 does make up a Lot of ground on this front but sigh i'm a perfectionist. standout favs were: (class 7) millium, jusis, fie (other) towa, alfin, claire, sara, vita, mcburn. see look how many characters that is. and i'm leaving people out.

drags a bit in the epilogue but overall improves a lot on where i think cs1 struggles (though still has some issues re: character bloat/balance. for example i think machias and laura really get drowned out.) kinda feels nitpicky to say when i think so many characters shine here compared to cs1 but—

the literal only thing i know about tokyo xanadu is that its like a decade old and towa is in it for some reason (if i was falcom i'd put towa in everything too) but i'm happy for the people who've been waiting for a bajillion years
