According to a @lambdalegal.bsky.social & @blackandpinkorg.bsky.social report, "one-third of participants who did not report a hate incident to the police said this was because they felt that the police would not think the incident was important." Others fear further harassment by police themselves.

From @journo-beth.bsky.social: Florida DOC's new policy on trans health care includes dehumanizing breast exams and what the ACLU has argued is a de facto ban on gender-affirming care. The policy also blames gender dysphoria on unaddressed "psychiatric issues" and "childhood trauma."
