Finished the first draft of my short story. Just 9 pages (2,100 words). I thought it would be 20 pages. That’s the journalism training/background kicking in — the drive to make everything concise. Must add more description.

Finally putting my first sword & sorcery short story to paper/screen. Sure, it needs a lot of work. But you can’t edit until you write it.
