Forgot to post, but I finished my first socks about a month ago!! I’m literally in love with them and so excited that they are done! I’ve moved on to a mosaic knitting project and am already missing the mindlessness of the socks. 🧶🧦

Update on the 9” circulars, I am slowly getting more used to them. Still fussing with how I hold my hands trying to stop the cramping. The workflow however is 😍. I love that I can just go round and round without having to readjust my needles every 30ish stitches like I do on magic loop. 🧶

Finished my test swatch for the @sweetpaprikadesigns.com skill builder box that I just got! I’m pretty sure my gauge is going to be off so now I’m debating if I have enough yarn to do another swatch. 🧶

Update on the sock! Things have been slow lately as I haven’t been in a wildly “knitty” mood. Feeling a tad discouraged by A) how long the sock is taking which is absolutely due to me picking to use fingerling weight and B) being very conscious as I try to fix my tension which is a bit frustrating 🧶

Final update: It’s blocked! Blocking evened some things out which I am glad for. I am VERY surprised how much this grew after being blocked. I haven’t knitted many things but this is the first thing that has noticeably grown for me after blocking. 🧶

3rd update: It is complete! It fits like it should! Made a handful of mistakes, but I’m trying to take this as a learning experience and remember that this is only my 5th knitted item ever. I have another one of these to make, might try a different bind off on the next one. 🧶

In other completely unrelated news right after posting this I found out that I dropped a stitch while binding off this cowl (ends already weaved in) 😩🧶
