Love that.

I spent a year at an Antarctic peninsula research station. Very familiar with these guy's stories.

By luck, i was able to meet and talk with Shackleton's grandson, a New Zealander who showed up on a tour ship.

Understood. You had mentioned traveling to see a copy so I thought this could be more convenient.

I did notice that you aren't in the US. I have bought books from the UK Amazon store for delivery to the US. But the rules keep changing, I don't know if this is hard now.

Best wishes.

Another pleasant and educational read is "Carbon Queen: The Remarkable Life of Nanoscience Pioneer Mildred Dresselhaus," by Maia Weinstock.

Dresselhaus was a one-woman powerhouse at MIT who was revered by generations of students.

Consider ChatGPT for ideas and a draft. I've been shocked by initial results. Much better than expected.

You can suggest updates to get results closer to what you want.

I have experience creating, reviewing, and using a variety of plans, which is the basis for my opinion here.

You are in Portland, so I just assumed you had such restaurants.

This is disgusting. I canceled my Times subscription yesterday after subscribing for reading and subscribing for decades. This makes it clear I made the right decision.

I assume you replaced the battery or wiggled the old one to ensure there is a good connection? (Rhetorical question, you needn't answer.). I've seen this problem more than once.

That's good, but I prefer "Turd Reich."

I've been assuming it was "Jeffrey Dahmer" Vance.

Is that wrong?

Consider washing out with Dawn dishwashing soap, maybe let the pack and the soap soak in a bucket for a few hours and then follow with a rinse.

Saw the "Shetland" tag and thought of Prince, a Shetland pony in Ohio that my grandfather owned and that us kids spent quality time with. Pleasant memories.

Then looked at your bio and saw your book "Ponies at the Edge of the World." That will be in my future, thank you.

Based on the structure above the flower, this seems to be, or related to, passionfruit flowers.

The Kindle Paperwhite is wonderful. Fast, great screen - readability in all light conditions, resolution, and size.

It has better controls so that the physical push buttons are just not needed.

This model caused me to favor e-books over the majority of paper books.

I don't understand why the app exists except for cases where one needs to load articles in advance of being out of wireless coverage.

Are there other benefits?
