Raining in Boulder as I was riding in from the North by Boulder Rez. It had all dispersed by the time I got home but there were a few puddles.

Storm over Boulder as seen from Boulder Rez on our ride. Accuweather didn't predict this or we wouldn't have been out there. Somehow we got home dry.

I bought this Hofner Thin President as a husk from a Chinese liquidator on Reverb for $140 USD. I built it up on the cheap except that I put SD Seth Lover pickups in it. I'm very pleased with the result, tone and playability are really nice for the investment. It's my only semi hollowbody. #guitar

With all the talk about Les Paul copies since Trump is selling one, here's an example an Edwards Les Paul with an "open book" headstock from the early 2000's. It was OK because it was originally sold into the Japanese market and not US. I bought it from a Japanese seller on eBay. The Gibson is real.

Three part Harmony, all from the 60's. The H-162 on the left is all solid and rebuilt with X braces. The Rocket in center is a hollowbody thinline with a sweet DeArmand gold foil. The Stella on the right has a cool funky slide tone. All in good playing order despite play wear. #guitar #vintageguitar
