No matter how right they think they are, why on earth wouldn’t the powers that be wait until the end of the semester to attempt detainment or deportation of students?! These people have no heart, no soul, no compassion.

Lt William Calley did not consider himself a monster either, just a GI following orders. What is happening at the behest of our current administration is WRONG. Listen to your heart; read the US Constitution. Do what is right.

Abrego Garcia should be returned to his USA home immediately by none other than Marco Rubio. The US owes this man and his family much more than an apology. His wife and child are US citizens. He was wrongfully deported. The US embassy in El Salvador should protect him until he is sent home.

Did they have and show her an arrest warrant? I wonder if they even read her her rights, or do they assume that one gives up all rights to become a visitor in the USA?

Keep posting ideas on what we can do to help save EPA regs. Here in western NC we have one Senator who is hardline party line R and one who is Senator Wishy Washy. Thom Tillis will agree with constituents and make promises that he fully intends to vote against. Calls do not work here.

I am not in favor of a planned walk-out per se, but when he starts bashing former presidents and respected leaders something needs to be done to stop him. Stand and turn your back to him or walk out then. Enough of the Biden bashing!

Freedom of the Press IS freedom to express opinions, NOT freedom to disseminate lies. Our President should be fact-checked and his lies to the American people corrected on air. Congress should censure him for intentional disinformation. We are losing our constitutional right to a free press.

Our President and VP were incredibly rude, crude, and inhospitable. How embarrassing and unAmerican! They turned visiting dignitaries away and denied them a lunch that had already been prepared?! Can Congress censure the Prez and VP for this behavior?

US Congress should apologize for our President and Vice President’s behavior today. They set Mr. Zelenskyy up for embarrassment and usury. Their crude, disrespectful treatment of a guest is embarrassingly rude and unAmerican. This is taking our country in the opposite direction from greatness.

I am so very tired of hearing the prez, his cabinet, GOP legislators sounding like middle schoolers. “Oh, did I say that?” “I didn’t know that.” “I haven’t seen that.” I suppose they remember that Jeff Sessions’ great memory lapse worked pretty well for them.
