And at the end—I’m so tired of “build more housing.” Billionaires and investors will just buy them and further drive up costs. At the very least we should be taxing non-primary residences and short-term rentals a significantly higher property tax rate.

Came here to say the same thing! My neighborhood is plagued by flippers and short-term rentals. More houses means more opportunities for investors.

And parents—especially single parents—don’t have time to cook, so prepared or processed food is the only way. And kids at home by themselves are not making salads. They are microwaving hot pockets.

Some mentally ill adults are about to be screwed because they appear to be “able-bodied.”People will either be forced into environments they aren’t able to handle or lose coverage/meds/therapy as a result. The outcome will be bad for all of us. I have this situation in my family and am worried sick.

Agreed! They have never faced any consequences. We keep hearing “next time” but next time never comes.

Totally agree. They all act like they’re asking a hard question and then concede the floor for a full speech on whatever the interviewee wants to communicate. Where is the real press?

So true. We need messaging about all the things federal agencies do for the public. The average person doesn’t really know so they believe Trump—it’s the only description they’ve heard. I have to admit I don’t know the details myself.

I was coming from a place of discouragement. I feel like I was careful, stuck to low-risk activities as much as I could, stressed for 5 years about it, and still got it while it seems the world is having fun and moving on—including my husband who hasn’t had it. It’s hard to view a future like this.

Recovering from my first case now acquired in a “low-risk” setting. I can see why people give up on being careful and simply tune out.
