This is just another case of blaming Democrats (in advance) for Republicans behaving bg badly.

It seems to me that the big statewide elections in NC may reveal the effects of race & gender. The big races were Trump (WM) vs Harris (BF), Stein (WM) vs Robinson ((BM), and Green (BM) vs Morrow (WF). Being B and/or F seems to cut off a few %pts in every case.
