The character of Rudy in the 1990 Williams pinball machine Funhouse was voiced by Ed Boon, who would go on to create Mortal Kombat two years later.

No, I don’t work for them. But I’ve lived in Chicago 30 years and I’ve bought countless appliances from them. From window ac units, to washer/dryer combos, dishwashers, cooktops, etc. Their customer service is out of this world. They do ship nation-wide.

Years ago construction on Lincoln Ave in west Lakeview uncovered rails too. It was awesome!

They didn’t “fail” .. they actively chose not to bother. They clearly want transit to tank.

Are there any people less useful than politicians?? 🤦‍♂️

Yeah - those seasons had a few glimpses of greatness, which has me encouraged for the future. Disney pulling out is, in my opinion, a good thing. Maybe this “soft reset” of sorts will invigorate the show. I’m going to miss Ncuti though, he was such a delight.

Yeah - I’m in a similar situation of taking buses more and more often lately, and for the most part there has been a great improvement. (Hopefully the pace of improvement continues for many more years!)

Oh, that’s the worst! A few years ago the City spent millions working on this intersection and … it’s exactly the same. Same deadly design for pedestrians, for cyclists, and terrible even for car since the new stop-lights that cost many hundreds of thousands of dollars, run the exact same cycle. 🤦‍♂️

How can you POSSIBLY expect them to do without their yearly trip to St. Moritz?! They’re not savages!

I should follow up - Chicago absolutely needs better leadership, and I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing quality campaigning.

That’s a whole lot of “what” without a single “how”. It’s like all those “amazing” and “futuristic” concept cars you always see, where they don’t have to worry about any realities like where to put the engine, or seat-belts, or can the wheels even turn. 🤦‍♂️

Unless of course the Bears get bored and want a new stadium in just 22 years … like is happening now with Soldier Field, after the renovation they just HAD to have in 2003.
