The opposite is true (ie - your vote is actually MORE important). My vote here in Missouri is actually more consequential than it would be if I joined the Democratic supermajority in California. Which is why I’ll always stay here and fight, even if it’s an uphill battle!

If the Missouri Democratic leadership could learn what a concentrated animal feeding operation is and why counties should have authority to regulate them, they might actually win a statewide office.

I voted for Elad, and sorry my post was harsh. But I haven’t heard statewide candidates talk about this, and watched Rs who supported county preemption run unopposed. Huge missed opportunity. Glad to hear that Elad was on top of this.

Missouri Dems need to start showing up in rural areas, unless they enjoy their status as a permanent minority party!! Example: make restoring county regulation of animal feeding operations a PRIORITY.
