If a 10% govt stake in Intel makes sense given taxpayer support, why not in all firms getting grants or subsidies? Defense, pharma, EVs all benefit. Why is this smart policy here but ‘socialism’ elsewhere? Is it because one party gave the funding and the other equitized it? So no one to blame?

Social media algorithms are specifically designed to spread hateful inflammatory rhetoric. Trump just happens to be a hateful inflammatory person that the media is designed to elevate for views and profit. They are not leveraging social media, social media is leveraging them.

Not interested in jumping ship between billionaires and podcasters every time they change their minds for attention. Elon is out, Rogan is out. Yes, we can benefit in the short term, but we are perpetuating the game of influencer politics where in the end we lose and they win every time.

Because anything the president does is constitutional according to the Supreme Court. It’s pointless unless congress impeaches and they will never do that.

My take on these brocasts is they agree with anyone who appears on their shows. They don’t have any actual political beliefs and aren’t informed to the point they can debate with any politician. Bottom line their job is to entertain and anyone who helps them do that is a friend.

“Probably” sends the wrong message and “ I hope he would reject it” means he will do nothing when it’s accepted. Just him entertaining the idea is enough to impeach.

Really hope this is the last straw. Trump coin is far worse, but this is much easier for the general public to understand.

Doesn’t matter if he was or wasn’t a member of a gang. Court said he needs to be returned due to an admitted error that led to him getting sent there. That should be enough.

Let’s assume trump is right that having ownership over Greenland is critical to national security. He’s now made it less likely that would ever happen.

Perhaps easily is the wrong word. This will cause pain to both countries and all things equal the U.S. would be better able to withstand. However, that is if everyone in the US was as united as the Canadians will be tolerate the pain this will cause. Canadians just need to wait until midterms.

The reason is we need to pass a tax cut and use tariffs to fund it.

This will unite mexico and Canada against the US while further dividing the United States. The US could easily win a trade war if there was a just cause that people could rally around. This isn’t it. This is a temporary ruse to utilize tarrif revenue to make the tax cut math work.

I don’t agree with ideas of wearing Ukrainian colors. Will just come off as anti America to wear another country’s colors. Need something that is better thought out.
