John Soanes Museum (random eccentric rich man's collection of stuff), and the Huntarian (medical history) are opposite each other.
Wellcome Collection (science/art/medical history) and British Library are very close to each other.
Grant Museum of Zoology for weird animals in jars etc.

There is so much good food in London, just seconding a few here - Beigel Bake (get the salt beef/gherkins/mustard), Rasa for excellent authentic Indian. I really like the Ribman on Brick Lane too. Basically, go for a wander round spitalfields/Truman's brewery/brick lane on a Sunday, and go hungry.
