Yeah, don’t know the Lakes very well but have been to Buttermere a few times. Beautiful place. Need to go back with my walking head on though!! Just finished 6 miles across Ilkley moor. Blowing fierce up there but worth it. Cobwebs well and truly blown away. 😁

I’m going one better - taking a walking guide who I trust has a plastic map! And yes, waterproofs will be tested to the max today. Do you have a favourite walk in the Dales? I’m a bit new to this and trying to get one decent walk a week in.

Yep - made it up there and back. You had much better weather! Currently sat in the car park at Ilkley Moor trying to get the strength to head out for today’s hike. It’s a wet and windy one here today!
