This assumes a bilateral dialogue on X that may result in changing one party’s mind. I think that’s a false assumption. If one can’t change anyone’s mind, there’s no point in having the dialogue.

It could also be read as, “my venture fund invested in Twitter/X and our mark to market is under water. Start advertising so that we can show a return to our LPs and so that I can make my carry”.
