from a fellow krita user: you can set the background color when making a new canvas, or, if you're forgetful like me, just make a new layer below your drawing and fill it in with gray :P

on this image i'm experimenting with doing my lines in dark brown instead of black, and Wow the difference in eye strain is huge. still undecided on whether or not i'll make them black when i color this because i'm kinda digging the brown, actually?

that's exactly what they mean; i simply cannot believe that drawing bodies different from theirs is "too hard" for a serious artist like...practice it then? i had to learn how to draw thin people so you can suck it up and learn to draw a back roll lol. you just don't want to because you're a baby :)

the crazy thing is that in my opinion fat bodies are much easier to draw because you don't have to get into the fine details of muscle and bone like you do with thin bodies— when people say it's "hard" i assume what they really mean is "hard to stomach because i'm a widdle baby scared of fat people"

if we ever have Ass Drawing as an olympic sport we gotta send you in to take the gold
