The old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born: now is the time of pocket monsters.

I was disappointed that the third title was scrapped (this applies to both Legends and the Deus Ex reboots) and that the spiritual successor Red Ash went nowhere. I struggle to think of any other game that fills that same niche that the Megaman Legends titles occupied.

I think the closest comparison to them that I played more recently are the Deus Ex series, particularly Mankind Divided; yeah most of the game takes place in just once city, but it was really tight and polished.

I have extremely fond memories of both games (never played the Tron Bonne spinoff). I'm not sure if that's nostalgia or if the were genuinely good and would hold up today and playing through them as an adult. But they felt like such tight experiences with a variety of things to do.

worth noting disc 130 actually has MORE & much earlier concept art for Mega Man Legends, including multiple pieces with untranslated artist comments.

I sincerely believe that they should add a fourth division called "Veterans" for everyone old enough to remember 9/11

the game isn't as fun when you are constantly playing against maidenless zoomers hopped up on addy and zyn living at home with their rich parents who have all the time in the world to memorize their lines and outs against every major deck archetype.

So much has changed since 2018. The entire thought process behind decks has changed. We didnt have limitless back in the day. People homebrewed a lot more and added their own unique spin. That era of the tcg is gone, and it is quite sad.

it's honestly a little insane/embarassing how married they are to the nazi platform.

The competitive scene exploded post-COVID but that was also when Expanded stopped seeing official tournaments. I wonder if given the new amount of people paying attention to the game if Expanded wouldn't see a meta shakeup with more brains on the problem.
