We may be the first civilization in history where lack of access to information isn't a problem so much as bothering to find it. Literally too stupid to live, and now we're going to lose people to rickets because a podcast told them sunlight is gay or something.

As a gun person, the leftists I know clock way more range/drill time than most boogaloos.
It tends to be a mentality thing, the LARPers own 40 guns and go shoot once a month. Lefties own like an okay rifle and a mid tier sidearm but drill and practice constantly.
