At the moment half his soul is trapped in a piece of Auracyte while the other half has developed into a gentle, story-loving creatures of its own, but thats less important atm. (7/7)

And when he had his fill there, he moved on. He volunteered in Bozja, proving himself a terror to the Empire and Resistance both, the latter of which discharged him and forced him to leave. He fought in illegal pits in La Noscea, and even eventually made his way to antagonize the Arcadion. (6/7)

His squad is caught in a blizzard after a hurried engagement with a draconic force. Despite his best efforts, they freeze to death and Denis is forced to survive off of their bodies until the weather clears. He learns that day that he will never be a hero (3/7)

And while he was no good in the scholam or courtly manners, he begged his heavy-handed and hated father to be allowed to join the Temple Knights, eventually being allowed to, and deployed to the Western Highlands and given a small command. He finds that war is not at all like the stories (2/7)
