Congratulations!

Great to see this information!

Thank you for helping people visualize grid mix.

Always enjoy seeing milestones like solar is now producing x % of current mix or solar is now outperforming this fossil fuel or that.

Thank you for updating the graph to show solar only. That is helpful.

PJM’s strides, however increased, are dangerously slow compared to the transition needed.

Worse yet, recent 51 projects that were fast tracked by PJM included NO solar!

They are striding towards a big problem.

Thanks for the visual.

9% is a start but PJM is W A Y behind other regions in the country deploying solar + batteries.

Simple reason: changing grid mix to greener sources threatens PJM stakeholders.

As a result, PJM continues to make access easier for lower cost and cleaner sources.

Senator, your words on D-Day are well chosen and true.

However as our Senator I do expect you words now to become clear actions denouncing tyranny’s latest man child.

Get your self absorbed and righteous duff off the floor and call out this garbage with active duty military in a US city. NOW.

Thank you, Governor Newsom.

Well, Lilith, sorry, but that sort of behavior just needs to stop.

How on earth can you possibly shop when you are that busy lassoing the moon?

Please get with the program.

Oddly enough, residential solar’s biggest problem is it just seems too good to be true… you can do right for your home value, save money ( really ) and also send a clear message that coal, nuclear and gas generators are ripping us off…
But we now cynically question progress…
May 1, 2025 at 4:19 AM
Yes… reality is grid operator knows what tripped and caused blackout. But rather than say grid is old and transmission is equally brittle, just blame solar. Grid operator is transmission and merchant generators ( think legacy ) and incapable of finding any fault in the status quo they preserve.

A bit misleading as Virginia feeds its data center load with L O T S of coal / gas generated electricity from West Virginia.

In fact, PJM’s biggest transmission project approved this year is to bring more coal from 50 year old inefficient John Amos generating station( W Va) to VA.

Getting some elevated smugness readings here… caution.

28% reserve margin for the day… or put another way, PJM is going to serve you a 3 egg omelette but will use 4 eggs and break the last one and throw it away after cooking it.

Yes, we need reserves but right now PJM is stalling battery and renewable projects to protect gas and coal shareholders.
