Boro lad in the Black Forest. Prolifically unsuccessful novelist who occasionally breaks terrible wind in supermarkets. Loves classical and rock music, despises conservatism.

Ah yes, the centre-left. Ed Miliband.

I think that ultimately this debate will fizzle out because of the fact that none of them should be in there without our consent, our permission. The clerics are a ludicrous anomaly, one we share with the Iran. Britain should have moved beyond this sectarian nonsense 100 years ago.

Well, no. But if they’re not doing much in the chamber of any consequence, we don’t need them.
November 16, 2024 at 1:34 AM
I’m not disputing that. But they don’t have a mandate, they don’t have our consent to be there.
November 16, 2024 at 1:24 AM
In that case they serve no purpose. Let’s get rid.

His string quartets aren’t too bad either.

I’ve got a thing for his piano sonatas, all 32 of them. I’ve got 15 effing versions.

Genuinely thought this was a painting at first.

Wonderful.

Ha! I bought this a couple of years ago, attracted as I was to the word “easy”.

What a fool I was.
