I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

This is “impoundment,” when the president holds back money that Congress has approved for a specific purpose. Trump and his allies - like Russ Vought - argue a president has the right or should have the right not to spend those funds.

I am a child of the sixties… I grew up in the age of the civil rights movement, women’s liberation and the Vietnam War. As a child I sang the songs of peace and protest. Today, those songs are resonating in my brain and have become my anthems for these troubled times… What are YOUR anthems?💙
