Very excited, Lady gets her cone off today. Finally I can stop sleeping on the couch. Finally I can hug my baby puppy without the cone getting in the way. She’s been so good about not trying to remove the cone and learning how to move around with it. This is the face of a very good girl.

Lady got the drainage tube removed from her chest today. The sutures come out in 9 days and once the cone is off I can finally stop sleeping on the couch. She’s done well with the cone though, I probably hate it more than she does because I keep getting hit with it.

Lady is weird. She’s got 3 perfectly nice beds in this office and she just keeps laying on the small pile of dirty laundry that’s built up because I’m a slob.

I smudged out the stitches but I'm still going to play it safe and mark this as graphic. She's back home, the cone is limiting her ability to move around the way she likes but she seems content to lay down and mope about it rather than try to get it off which is a relief.

I’m always so grateful to Lady for being so agreeable with the weird hours I keep. I slept 14 hours and she just let me. It verges upon ludicrous how much she puts up with and never complains.
