Give God the Glory! I attended a rescheduled Black History Month program at The Historic First Baptist Church Bute Street today and it was one of the most moving experiences I’ve had in years.

I met civic league members of the Belvedere neighborhood last night. The former DePaul hospital will soon be the home of the Next Step for Success program, which focuses on helping 13 to 18 year olds to achieve their full potential. I fully support important programs like this.

Nice to see Councilman JP Paige, Treasurer Daun Hester, and Commissioner of the Revenue Blythe Scott at the Poplar Hall Civic League. Filling potholes and better lighting for Military Circle Mall are issues of concern.

Today, I launched my campaign for Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney with the support of local leaders. This campaign is about building a justice system that puts victims first and works for everyone in Norfolk to build a Safe and Thriving Norfolk.
