I always buy the hardback. I love the feel of it. I only buy a softback if that's the only option. I do enjoy audio books, on occasion. But I never buy ebooks.

And speaking of the KKK...wasn't Donald Trump's father arrested at a KKK rally in 1927?

Both parties evolved over time. During the Civil War, it was the Republicans who were anti-slavery, while the Democrats favored small government and were for the expansion of slavery. However, in 2025, it's the Democrats who are for civil rights, social justice & programs to help the poor

Yes. He served as US Senator from 1952 to 2010. He was a member of the KKK, and filibustered against the Civil Rights Act. However, he deeply regretted both and admitted he was wrong on his views. Which is why he supported the 1983 bill to make Martin Luther King Day a national holiday.

Agreed. At this point, I can't understand why anyone would support what Trump is doing.

The history of both parties show that their ideologies have completely switched. The Republicans of the past (Lincoln, for example) would now follow the platform of today's Democrats. The old Democratic Party now follows the platform of today's Republicans. It's known as the "Great Switch."
